Client: Foundation focusing on human health in the context of the climate crisis

Target group: 10-person team

Format: 1-day in-house training followed by a buddy program

 

Initial situation

The foundation's team works intensively every day to tackle pressing social challenges. However, the psychological strain is very high due to setbacks, time pressure, and the emotional nature of the subject matter. This is why the foundation's employees were faced with the following question: How can we remain healthy, capable of action, and motivated in such a demanding environment in the long term? 

ClimateMind's approach

The answer to this question was a customized one-day training session with the entire team, including management, followed by a buddy program. The following components were used:

  • Different exercises, which participants were free to choose from in order to meet their individual needs and life circumstances.
  • Developing concrete next steps for integrating resilience promotion into the foundation's organizational structures in a targeted manner.
  • Consolidating and deepening what has been learned through a buddy program: Over several weeks, team members worked in buddy pairs on specific exercises and reflection questions provided on the topic.

 

Results & Impact

  • Resilience strengthened: Participants significantly increased their mental resilience through the exercises on the training day and in the buddy program.
  • Important cultural momentum created: Self-care was established as a central part of the team culture—an important lever for sustainable impact.
